Events:
- With many of their fellows mysteriously vanished, the small group of Bohemund, Jumurak and the recently psychologically repaired Stabbington camp in the mouth of the cave (50 exp)
- Unable to work out their location, the team of poorly equipped wilderness explorers decide to just sort of head in a direction until they find a landmark (50 exp)
- Nonexistent survival skills and Stabbington's added strain from supporting his brain-glyph mean it's slow going, but on the evening of the second day strange giggling is heard (50 exp)
- It's some weird winged dude in a high-up cave. Others of his kind flit around in the dusk and spook people. (50 exp)
- Conversation is joined and the guy's completely nuts. Sneaking up to him fails, someone offends him, and suddenly the dude's spitting harmful owl pellets. (50 exp)
- The rest of the winged guy's crew swoops in to attack, spitting magic and laughing. The party leg it as best they can. (50 exp)
- Jumurak leaps into the water to escape, unfortunately one of the fliers spits a seaweed monster into the water forcing him to split up from the rest (50 exp)
- Meanwhile the others sprint for the trees in the hopes that they'll lose the winged dudes in there. Due to some awful pursuit rolls... it totally works! (50 exp)
- Jumurak (or... was it Bohemund?... I'm second guessing myself) attaches a crowbar to a rope to use as a grappling hook, throwing it into the seaweed demon chasing him and slamming it into a tree. (50 exp)
- He runs as the seaweed tries to untangle itself, and the group happen to meet up at a steep cliff with goats on it. (50 exp)
- It's climb time for Bohemund because lack of rations is becoming a big issue. He climbs up the cliff and... gets butted in the face by a goat. He falls down and embarrasses himself. (50 exp)
- They walk for another good while until, hurrah! They spot a landmark - Mt White Plume - and head towards it. (50 exp)
- They camp out near the base of the mountain. During the midnight watch a glowing doorway is seen some way up the slope. (50 exp)
- In the morning it's decided to climb the mountain to get a vantage point and get some bearings. There's rough stairs in some places so it's not that hard a climb. (50 exp)
- A wolf is seen near an overhang with a view towards civilisation. Hurrah! Bohemund is very clever and goes to make a friend, failing his Bushcraft and getting savaged by the wolf for his trouble. (50 exp)
- "Oh yea they're pack animals" says Stabbington and, moments later, notices movement all around the place. (50 exp)
- Bohemund gives up his overtures of friendship and hulks out, tearing the wolf's skin from its body in one brutal crit. (50 exp)
- That's more than enough for the rest of the wolves and they get out of there. Bohemund is restrained before he hurts his friends. (50 exp)
- From this vantage the party's course can be easily plotted, so they set off and soon join a little-trodden path leading in the right direction. (50 exp)
- At one point some fir trees start swaying seductively, which is weird. Bohemund's inadequate loin cloth barely conceals his feelings on the matter. (50 exp)
- Finally, Gush is reached. It's near the end of the day and the town guards are reluctant to let such smelly weirdoes into their city, especially since one is wearing a wolf pelt that's still dripping. (50 exp)
- Some bad persuasion later and the party is admitted, with a bystander named Werner forced to lead them to the nearest inn with a bath. (50 exp)
- The Cup & Bone is entered and some rooms (and more importantly, baths) purchased. Most notable thing about the pub - some posh nobs in the corner are playing at Basilisk Fights with their prized miniature basilisks. (50 exp)
- Some time later, the newly bathed characters are deciding what to do. Stabbington tries to get in on the basilisk betting and does a passable impression of fitting in. (50 exp)
- Bohemund causes a ruckus when he steals someone's money in front of their very eyes. The toffs run outside to call the guards and things start going horribly wrong. (50 exp)
- Chefs emerge from the kitchen with knives and the bartender brings out a crossbow (50 exp)
- Bohemund dives over the counter and goes into a rage, smashing the crossbow into the bartender's face over and over until things start to squelch. (50 exp)
- Jumurak grabs two of the toffs by the heads as they escape and bashes them into each other until they're knocked out. (50 exp)
- The rest of the patrons are enjoying this jolly good bar fight, one of them whips out a flute and starts playing a jolly jig. (50 exp)
- One of the chefs jumps the counter to try and help his coworker, finding the stakes have climbed murderously high. (50 exp)
- Jumurak has a capital idea and does some sort of ULTIMATE SUMMON PUNCHU, ripping the throats from the toffs AND jumping past the chef to murderate him AND punching all that energy into another guy across the counter whose dying life energy emerges from his mouth as a horrible Amoeba Demon. (50 exp)
- The sacrifice was enough, leading to Jumurak commanding it to "protect me as though you were protecting yourself, and to bring down your wrath on those I direct you to". (50 exp)
- The flute music takes on a sinister tone and shit gets cliffhangery. (50 exp)
