Session 19 - The God That Crawls

Well you escaped, and I was absolutely shattered at the end of that one let me tell you. Three way split in the fucking doom labyrinth? Fuck me, if I didn't have the jenga blocks I think I would literally be dead.
Chris, Marius, you are now the highest level anyone has ever been. Enjoy it while it lasts.
New guy, dubbed Chris2 in these annals, has turned up and rolled the highest statted character we've yet had. Presumably his goblin was one of the demonic artifacts down here or something.
Since Chris2 wants to know the rules (keep in mind that I am basically changing these session to session so don't go all rules mastery on me), the base game is a mouthful I generally shorten to LotFP (free download here) with a large variety of house rules and tweaks and sundry fucking around I've collated here.

I guess the other guys all escaped too but at the start the next session they're at 1HP due to presumed mishaps during their escape which mysteriously left no evidence anywhere in the dungeon. (From now on, if you get stuck in a dungeon by session's end and don't turn up the next week you'll have to roll on the Super Secret Dungeon Escape Chart of Very Probable Doom so watch out!!!?)
Also from now on all rations take up an encumbrance slot each, turns out I got that rule wrong.

Another thing - George wants to run a game called Everyone Is John at some point which sounds like a laugh. Everyone is one of an insane guy's multiple personalities and has to make him do horrible stuff to win. Aiming at 4ish players because he's never run a game before, let me (or him, he's southeastguy in the address line) know if you're interested. Should be fun!

Session 18 - To Oberon's Reach

Hello all,

Not much treasure today but you did a lot of travelling to new places and also killed something scary and got trapped in a dungeon, so I'm pleased with that.

Investment rules attached. Due to Liisa's Dwarf's care and piemastery and your constant advertisement of Pie Mama's, the returns will come in every month (rather than every year) and she will get a +2% bonus to the roll. Got to go to Pillartown to collect earnings though.

Also attached - firearms! All is as per the sheet, save that flintlocks haven't been invented yet, guns do exploding damage, and I charge you a flat price to refill powder horns and stuff rather than making you count shots.
Yes you can buy firebombs and scattershot and things, munchkins.
I'm going to start putting the campaign date on here too, switching to regular days and months (rather than fantasy versions) because it's easier and saying "It is Towerday, 2nd of Palesun" makes me faintly embarrassed.

For Renzo: I have also put the phases of the moon. All months are 30 days long and your powers are at maximum on the 15th and minimum on the 30th, coinciding with the New Moon and Full moon respectively. The week before the New Moon increases your powers and vice versa on the week before the Full Moon.
I think I already told you this but might as well put it in writing.

For George: I just realised that I don't have Jay's email! Pass it my way so I can forward these things onto him!
